NEXT WORKSHOP - TBA
Come as you are. Make something wonderful.
A little clay, a little creativity and a whole lot of fun.
Come along, get your hands dirty and see what you can create!
Next Session: TBA 2026
For anyone who's been feeling a little overwhelmed, stretched thin, or simply needs a break from the everyday.
Maybe you're craving some time for yourself, a chance to meet new people, or just the freedom to create something without worrying about getting it right.
You don't need artistic talent or any experience with clay. Just come along, get your hands dirty, have a laugh and enjoy the moment.

You'll arrive just as you are, and leave with something you've made with your own two hands, a smile on your face and perhaps a little clay under your fingernails.
There's no pressure to be creative, no perfect result to aim for, and absolutely no need to know what you're doing. Mel will gently guide you through the process, leaving plenty of room for laughter, conversation and happy little accidents.
Life can get so busy that we forget what it's like to do something purely for the joy of it. No deadlines, no expectations, no one needing anything from you.
Just a little space to breathe, play, connect and remember how good it feels to make something simply because you can.
We start with a warm welcome, a little inspiration and a lump of clay full of possibilities.
Mel will guide you through creating your own pottery piece, step by step. There's plenty of time to experiment, chat, laugh and discover what those hands of yours can do.
No rushing, no pressure and definitely no artistic talent required.
And the best part? You'll have something you've made yourself, along with the lovely feeling of having spent some time doing something just for you.
More than just something you've made with your own hands.
You'll take home a little more confidence in your creativity, some lovely memories, perhaps a new friendship, and the satisfaction of having tried something different.
Your clay creation will need time to dry and be fired before it's ready to collect, but the good feelings can come home with you.

Hello! I'm Mel
I love bringing people together through creativity, connection and a little bit of clay!
With a background in art therapy, I know how wonderful it can feel to step away from everyday pressures and simply enjoy making something with your hands.
My workshops are relaxed, friendly and full of encouragement. You don't need experience, artistic talent or even a plan. Just bring yourself and a willingness to have a play.
I'm not here to teach you how to be a perfect artist. I'm here to help you discover how much fun creating can be.
What if I'm not creative?
Perfect! You don't need to be. Mel will guide you through everything, one step at a time. There are no masterpieces expected here, just a chance to play, experiment and surprise yourself.
What if I come on my own?
You'll be in good company! These workshops are all about creating and connecting. Come solo, bring a friend, or make a new one while you're here. Everyone is welcome.
What if I make a complete mess of it?
Then you're doing it right! Clay is wonderfully forgiving, and sometimes the wonky bits are what make a piece special. There's no right or wrong, and definitely no judging.
You'll come for the clay, but you'll leave with so much more.
A lighter heart, a little spark of joy, and the lovely reminder that you deserve time that's just for you.
Go on. Give yourself something to look forward to. ❤️
A little time just for you. A chance to switch off, get your hands dirty, have a laugh and make something wonderful.
No expectations. No experience needed. Just good company, a lump of clay and the freedom to play.
Because you deserve a few hours where the only thing you have to do is enjoy yourself.
Come on, there's a spot at the table with your name on it!
